Today we went to Erik's head doctor and received awesome news! Erik's head has improved past any expectations the doctor had for him! He has done so well that he doesn't have to wear the helmet anymore! I am so excited and am so grateful for this huge blessing. We were told in the beginning that his head was so severely deformed that they probably wouldn't be able to do much. Now, he has an almost perfect head and he looks just beautiful. I know we have been so blessed.
I am grateful for trials, because they teach us to be humble and to realize how blessed we really are. I am grateful that Erik had the helmet because for one, it protected him from his big sister throwing balls at his head! Big blessing in disguise! Secondly, he looked so cute in it! And thirdly, I cherished that one hour a day that he got to have it off by cuddling with him. Now, when I kiss his head, and cuddle with him, I am much more grateful than I think I would have been without this experience.
We are so blessed to have this little boy in our home. He is truly a special little boy who wins everyones' heart with his big smile and fat cheeks!

I am so glad to hear the good news! Aren't you so grateful for prayer and blessings?! I am not sure what I would do without them. That is so wonderful that his head is back to perfect and that you can cuddle him now without that in the way! I am very happy for you guys and for little Erik.
Dinner sounds great. We would love to come down and hang out with you guys. Let us know when. I am in town for a while so we are free this weekend or pretty much whenever you guys are. Let me know and we can get something planned.

That is so exciting I am glad it all worked out, it is always a wonder the power of prayer, no matter how many times we see it, it is so amazing everytime they are answered going beyond our expectaions. HE is super cute I would have to agree.
