Almost walking...

Most people say that when the kids start walking they get into more things and are more difficult. No way! Erik manages...



He climbs onto Bria's bed and you can always tell when he has just reached the top, even if you aren't in the room, because you can hear this very distinct squeel that never ends and then suddenly his squeel starts to bounce. It is so cute! He LOVES Bria's bed. Erik is also climbing up onto the couch to get onto the window sill so he can see outside. He is also climbing out of his high chair, the cart at the store, no matter how good I buckle him in. I think I have a little monkey on my hands! He is SO strong.

I just think crawling is so much harder, especially in the summer when I just want to set Erik on the ground to play. All of Erik's pants are getting destroyed because he refuses to walk! He can walk, he just doesn't want to. I caught him take 4 steps and I got an excited look on my face hoping he would take more. He saw it and immediately dropped to the floor. He just loves me to hold him. He is such a mammas boy. I love holding him, but it is getting kind of difficult since he weighs 24 pounds! He is way dang cute though and I still can't resist!
