Bria gave her very first talk in primary last Sunday and I was so proud of her. Bria has really struggled with big crowds and even had a hard time sitting in that big primary room. She never participated and always kept her eyes on the ground in fear of being called on. It was so hard to watch her be so uncomfortable. Little by little, she began to participate in primary and we were seeing a little progress each week. Last month was the primary program and I really didn't think she would say her part. Well, she got right up there and did it and we were so excited! She was so proud of herself and is always wanting to do her little part.
So, last Sunday was another big step. She gave an entire talk in front of the whole primary! She was so excited that she and I practiced at least 3o times in front of her stuffed animals. She even used her little vacuum as her microphone. Of course she was a lot more confident in front of her best stuffed buds than her intimidating primary class, but just the fact that she got up there and did it made me so proud.
The thing that makes me more proud of Bria is her strong testimony. She is such a good example to me because she has so much faith. It is amazing to see how much she loves the Savior and her Heavenly Father.
