Last Monday, Zak got to meet the amazing man he was named after, my grandpa, Richard Jenson. My grandpa has had a huge impact on my life. He was practically another father to me and was always there for me even when my problems were so minor. My grandpa never let me sit and feel sorry for myself. He picked me up and always tried to help me make the best of things, that life was too short to waste time being down. Grandpa was always there to give me a priesthood blessing. His faith and dedication in the Gospel is remarkable and I love him so much. Zak is very lucky to be named after such a wonderful man.
It is tradition that my grandpa sings "Dumpity Dump Truck" to all the grandkids. Whenever he sings it, it takes me back to my childhood and the memories of his beautiful voice singing to us as kids.
And of course my Grandma Jenson, my other mom who is always there for me. I am so blessed to have such amazing grandparents who are so supportive and so loving.
My mom came down with my grandparents. My mom is so sweet. She can't go very long without seeing her grandkids, she just loves them so much!
Erik wanted some attention too, so my mom wrapped him up in a blankie and held him like a baby! He loved that!

Congratulations on your new sweet boy! He's darling. :) Hope you're recovering well. Sounds like your older 2 have hit the ground running with their new brother!!

They must be so proud. Especially Grandpa to have a little one named after him. I love that Erik wants to be held too! My boys all did that. You totally have to remember the older ones. How sweet! What a good Grandma!
