Bria's Dance Recital!

Last week, Bria danced in her recital and did so awesome! I was so proud of her because she had a blast! All I really wanted out of this experience is that she had fun and she sure did! I was a little worried when she wouldn't dance in class. She would just stand there and not budge! I had already planned to take her out of dance class before the recital even happened. In fact, I almost didn't bother with the recital because there were 5 in two days and they seemed so inconvenient. Well, I am sure glad I didn't take that away from her because I don't think I have ever seen her love something so much! She didn't go out and suddenly do all the dance moves, but she danced and did her own thing and it was pretty cute. At the end of the dance all the girls did the famous pop and a few counts before that last beat, Bria already had her hand up ready to pop and when that beat hit, she popped like a pro! So adorable! Afterwards, Bria got to come sit in the audience with us to watch the rest of the show. So, to get into the recital it cost 8 bucks! I thought, what a rip off! But it was TOTALLY worth it! I was SO impressed with the dancers and the show itself. It was absolutely amazing and I was so excited that Bria got to be a part of it. Bria LOVED LOVED LOVED the show! She sat on Derek's lap for an hour and never blinked! She was completely mezmorized!

Last night after the big birthday party with the Anderson fam, Bria put on quite the show. At 9:00 she decided that she wanted to show Grandma and Grandpa her dance. Derek brought down the cd player with the cd that had all the music of all the dances from the show. She danced to her song twice and then wanted to dance to all the others. Well, I was completely taken back. She even remembered some of the moves from the other dances and did them! At the end of every song, she would do some really cute pose and hold it until we all clapped. We loved it so much that we kept egging her on for a whole hour! She was that good! She is way too much fun and we just love her!
