Missing my Hubby

Derek has been out of town for business since Monday and he will be coming home tomorrow, finally! I am so ready for him to be home. I miss him so much and can't stand it anymore! I love Derek so much and am so grateful he is my husband. He is so sweet to me and helps me with so much. He really spoils me and I realize it more since he has been gone.

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to post about Mother's Day and all the fun stuff we have been up to before that. I will just start with Mother's Day and then I will post the other stuff another time. Derek always knows exactly how to make me happy on any holiday or any day for that matter. He is just so amazing. I got an early Mother's Day gift on Friday when he let me sleep in until 8:00 while he took care of the kids. He just went in to work later so I could get some sleep. I was definitely very happy when I woke up! Oh, I would be such a good mom if I could at least sleep until 7:00 every day!

Sunday was a beautiful day. Derek got up with Erik and didn't seem like he was in any hurry to get to his early meetings. I was a little suspicious. Well, I went back to sleep and took advantage of yet another sleeping in moment. 7:00 rolled around and Derek yelled up the stairs, "You better hurry and come take care of Erik, I gotta go!" I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs and came upon this...

Oh, he definitely knows what he is doing!

Happy Mothers Day, a week later. Better late than never!

I know that since I've had Brooke, I just need Blake's companionship even more. Having your hubby gone all week would be hard. What a nice mother's day!

Oh man, I love a made Breakfast. Mitch got up on year with the kids to make me breakfast..He made pancakes and him and all the kids brought it into me. They all sat there and watched me eat the WORST pancakes ever..But I ate them and loved them anyway. they were all sooo cute sitting there with their excited smiles at what they just did. I love that year, it is still my fav, thinking about those yummy pancakes makes me giggle. Happy Mothers day!

What a good husband! I love those moments. P.S. I can't believe Erik is a year old! That went by way too fast.
