I love to See the Temple

Yesterday we went to Temple Square and met up with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Dani. We went to eat dinner at the Lion house and then toured Brigham Young's home. We had such a good time together and I think this will be one of my favorite memories this summer. My parents have been going through a lot this past year and so things have been quite overwhelming for them and for us having to watch them go through so many trials. But it was so nice to be with them in a peaceful, beautiful setting and to realize what is most important and that everything will turn out in the end if we are faithful. I could feel the spirit so strongly manifest that to me. I love my family so much and all I want is for them to be happy.

Bria loved the reflecting pond and I thought it would be cool to get a picture of her touching the temple's reflection.

The flowers there were amazing.

Wow, what a cute boy!

Dani and me.

Mom, Dani and me. My dad doesn't usually like to be in pictures, but I wish I would have gotten a picture of him, because he was so happy.

I love my family so much and I can't think of a better gift in the world that even compares to eternal families. I am so excited to be with Derek forever even though sometimes he might wish differently! I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and the strength and comfort it brings to me. I have been overwhelmed with the love of our Savior this week and I know that He lives. I cannot even describe the love that I feel right now. I am so blessed and so happy.

Because of reading your blog I am actually getting use to the name Derek. Scott walked up while I was looking at the pictures and asked whose kids those were and I said "Derek and Jenilyn". It didn't fall smoothly off my tongue because I noticed the difference immediately but I am gradually adjusting.
