Daddy's Boy

Erik absolutely adores his Daddy. I have never seen a child so attached to their father as Erik is. Every time Derek walks through the door, Erik laughs hysterically as he is running to him. Erik can't sit through Sacrament meeting because he wants his Daddy. Erik loves helping Derek whenever he is building, cooking, mowing the lawn, anything to be with his Dad. Last week, Derek built a little wall to go around our garden and Erik loved helping him put it together.

This was just really funny because one day, Erik wouldn't take a nap. Erik was helping Derek cook dinner, and he ran off and within seconds he was conked out on the floor!
Erik also loves his sister. Although Erik is all boy, he does have a soft side and loves playing with Bria. The other day, Bria found these Hawaiin bows and brought them downstairs. I put one in Bria's hair and then Erik wanted one in his hair too! I clipped it in to the top of his hair and we just laughed and laughed! He was so hilarious in it!
