Little things that make me so happy...

My kids have been the joy of my life and I am so blessed to be their mom.  Here are a few things that make me smile when I think about them...

Erik...
Loves giving kisses through a book that has window shapes in it.
Walks around the house for hours just singing away like a little opera star with microphone in hand.
Runs into my room in the morning with a big smile on his face saying, "Wake ut mommy!"
Pauses in between all his words, "hi...Granna!"
When I tuck him in for bed, he grabs me, pushes me down to his bed and yells, "Lay down!"
Mixes his words up, like peach he says- "Cheap"
Whenever he sees a church, he yells "temple!"
Loves sitting by the toaster and giggles in suspense until the toast pops out.
So easy to make him laugh.  This book entertained him for a whole hour because it had a saxophone in it and he would bend down, put his lips on the page and toot out a sound for the instrument.  He then threw himself up in laughter because he thought it was SO funny!

Erik is constantly making us laugh!  He is so much fun to have around, especially his cuddles and kisses!  I am so glad that his cheeks still feel like silky pillows when you kiss them.  I love this little boy so much!

Bria...
Loves to help around the house.  When she does a chore, it has to be a surprise every time.  When she unloads the dishwasher, she shuts it so I can open it like a present.  When she cleans her room, she shuts her door so we can be surprised.

Cannot say good bye enough!  She waves to Daddy until the car is gone.  We get at least 5 hugs and kisses before either of us leave.  If someone leaves, even a complete stranger, without saying good-bye, there is a tantrum.  She just loves people.
Cannot make something without wanting to give it to someone.  She has never kept a single necklace she has made.  She gives all her creations away, but I snatch some of them because I think I will appreciate them the most!  She has actually found some that I have hidden and she even remembered who she was going to give it to and tells me, "Mom, I need to give that to Gramma."

Bria LOVES her family so much.  Even the grandmas she doesn't see often, she makes sure to let me know how much she loves them.  She is one of the most caring little children I know.

She calls razors "slazors"

Bria loves her Savior and Heavenly Father so much.  She is always telling me how much she wants to be like Jesus and that it is so hard.  She is so innocent and so sweet and I just love her so much.

My husband also plays a huge part in my happiness and I love him so much.  He is truly my anchor and my best friend.  He has pulled me out of many hard trials and has been so patient with me.  He loves me even with all my weaknesses and has helped me become a better person.  I love how he loves our children.  I love how concerned he is for us, almost to the point I feel like a child, but it is comforting to know how much he loves me.  I love how he doesn't expect me to do everything around the house.  I love how he loves the Gospel and how diligent he is.

I am truly blessed to have such an amazing and loving family.  I am so grateful for the little hints everyday that Heavenly Father sends me, letting me know how much He loves me.  I am so happy and couldn't ask for more.
