Fun Randomness

These are just some fun pictures that don't have a specific place, but I couldn't just leave them in my folder.  

Derek and I made a homemade chocolate pudding pie last week and Bria got to make her very own, little pie.  She rolled out her dough and put it in the pie plate all on her own.  She is going to make a most excellent cook!

 A couple weeks ago, Erik asked Derek if he would build "Bombora" (his new fascination) for him.  What I love about Derek is that when he gets crazy requests, he somehow finds away to make it happen!  So, here is THE Bombora Train!

I am realizing more every day why I love being a mom.  I am amazed at how much my kids have taught me.    I could not be the person I am without my sweet children.  At night, after they are asleep, I love to go in their rooms and kneel by their bed.  This is where I usually say my prayers, because when I look into their peaceful faces, I am overwhelmed with gratitude, and right then I realize how happy I am to be their mom.  I know that I will look back at this very point in my life and think these were the best times.  Nothing could bring me greater joy than my children, even with all the difficult things that come along with it.  The sweet moments really make up for all the tantrums and poopy diapers!  I am so grateful for these cuties and I truly do love being a mommy.
