Families Forever

Last Friday, we went to the Draper Temple open house. We had a few family home evening lessons on the temple to help prep Bria for the day we would walk through the temple. She loved talking about temples and one of her favorite songs is, "I love to see the Temple." So, she was really excited that she actually got to go inside!

Instead of parking at the temple, there were four churches that had buses that shuttled everyone up. When we drove into the church parking lot, I told Bria that she would get to ride a bus. She was so excited that she could hardly sit through the video presentation they showed right before we got on the bus. The whole time she kept leaning over to me and saying, "Mommy, I want the bus!" over and over. That may have been the most exciting part for her, but the most exciting part for me was when we walked into the celestial room all together as a family. The room was absolutely beautiful and looked and felt like Heaven. I had such an overwhelming feeling of joy being there with my family, knowing that we can be together forever. The temple was BEAUTIFUL and I am so grateful we have the opportunity to bind families here on earth and help those who have already passed on. I am so grateful for my little family and feel so blessed to have the Gospel in my life.
