Happy Easter!

Grandma's Easter Party we have every year



Easter Sunday was probably the most perfect day I have had in a long time. We weren't frantic getting ready for church (which is usually the case since Derek is gone to meetings and the fact we have church at 9 doesn't help). After church I put the kids down for a nap and then hid their Easter baskets and eggs. I hid Erik's in his favorite spot... behind the plant he loves to pull down! And Bria's was hidden under a blanket. The kids had so much fun collecting their eggs. Erik picked all of his eggs up and just shook them over and over. It was so cute!













Then of course Derek made a wonderful dinner. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have him as my husband.

















While Derek made dinner, the kids and I went outside to blow the bubbles they got in their Easter baskets. Erik loved watching while Bria did all the blowing. By the time we were done, we were covered in bubbles! The kids had fun.
