Lovin' Dance, finally

Bria has been in dance since December and surprisingly didn't like it for a long time! I had to bribe her to even put her leotard on! When she got to dance class, she would just stand there staring with a frown on her face. I was so sad! Not because she didn't want to dance, but that she wasn't having fun. I put her in dance because I wanted her to have a fun activity to do once a week where it was just for her. I am not expecting her to be a dancer, but to just have fun. I finally told her that if she even just jumped up and down, that would be fine. So, she did and I was one happy mom! The other moms must have thought I was crazy when I got so excited because she was hopping all over the room. I was happy though, because she had a smile on her face.

A couple weeks later, when they added in the baskets (their little prop for the dance) Bria totally let loose! She tried so hard to do all the dance moves. There is one part in the dance where they have to kick over their baskets, but they are kind of high, so it is a little difficult. Well, Bria wouldn't move onto the next move until she kicked over the basket! She is doing really well and loves dancing now. These are just some pictures when we got home.
