Happy 4th of July!

4th of July was so much fun. Well, probably not for Derek and Duane! On the 3rd, Derek and my awesome brother-in-law, Duane put our floor in. The floor has had to be put on hold for a long time because Derek was really busy with work and then there were other unexpected things. I really appreciate Duane because not only did he come on a holiday to do this for us, but only a couple days before, he got back from a long trip from Indonesia. I was really worried about him because of the time changes and hello, some serious jet lag! He is so tough though. He came and helped us out and I am SO grateful, so thank you SO much Duane! They did an AWESOME job and it couldn't look better!

This is what we did while they were working...

The kids LOVE the pool and had so much fun swimming. My sister-in-law, Teresa helped me with the kids and I am so grateful for that, because it is kind of hard keeping them entertained without a house to go in! We had a good time.

Saturday was a nice relaxing day. After Erik's morning nap, we headed down to the Freedom Festival in Provo and walked along all the boutiques. We got some delicious Navojo tacos for lunch and watched a little concert of some young artists. Bria loved it! She was even trying to sing along. The performers were actually really good and we enjoyed it.

That night we had Teresa and Duane for dinner and Derek cooked up our nicest cuts of steak. Well, actually scorched them! Derek was grilling them out back and came inside for a little while. When he went back out, they were on fire! I felt so bad! Luckily he didn't put all of them on, so we still had plenty. We ate a delicious dinner and then played games with Bria. When it got dark, we went outside and watched some fireworks. Bria loved it and kept saying, "I love it Daddy!"

Bria watching fireworks with Uncle Duey and Aunty Teresa...

When Bria really loves something, she watches with the most serious face, but when it is all over, she smiles and says, "I love it!"
