Erik is 18 months old!
I can't believe Erik is in nursery now! He turned 18 months November 14th. At his last appointment he was 25 pounds and 34 inches long. He is very tall and has remained his same weight since 7 months! Erik has grown up so much these last 6 months and has gone from our baby to a toddler. Erik is so much fun and makes us laugh every day. He copies everything we do: curls his hair with a curling iron, talks on the phone, puts bows in his hair (yes, he needs a brother), wipes the floor, reads books, etc. Whenever I tell Erik to give me a hug, he automatically puts his head on my shoulder. He could be screaming his head off, but when I say I want a hug, he puts his head on my shoulder that fast. His vocabulary is slowly growing. He can say cheese, cookie (All food is cookie), broccoli, amen, Jesus, and of course mama and Daddy. He LOVES playing with anything he shouldn't. He can climb just about anything and it scares me to death. His favorite movie/music is Lion King. He has to watch the "Circle of Life" off you tube every night before he goes to bed. He cannot live without his blankie and monkey.
Last week was Erik's first time to Nursery. At first he was terrified, but as soon as he saw all the toys he was just fine! In fact, today, he ran into nursery without even looking back. We are SO excited about it!
