Getting ready for Christmas

I have never seen a child more excited about Christmas then Bria. She is definitely my daughter! I remember getting so excited as a little girl that I could never stop jumping up and down and now I have a little mini me doing the same! I love re-living my childhood through my cute kids!

A couple weeks ago, we decorated our house for Christmas and it was magical! Bria couldn't have been more fun! She kept shouting, "My Christmas is here!" She LOVED decorating the Christmas tree. She was SO much fun to watch. She was determined to put the star on the top of the Christmas tree. The kids were so excited to get the train out. They love watching the train go around the tree and the village before they go to bed, especially Erik. He throws himself onto his tummy and kicks his legs behind him as he says, "TOO TOO!" He loves trains!

Bria got to go outside and help Daddy put our one string of lights on our bush! She loved it! Our bush is very cute with only one strand of lights!

Every day Bria gets to put a cotton ball on Santa's beard and she does not forget! The kids also get to eat a chocolate out of their advent calendar each day. Erik doesn't forget that one! He can barely talk, but he sure knows how to say chocolate now! Every day he points to his chocolate and he runs in place as I get it out for him. SO ADORABLE!

The kids also love dancing to Christmas songs. Erik's favorite is "Run run Rudolph". Whenever I start the song, he goes absolutely crazy! He screams and laughs and runs in circles until he falls down! He also comes and grabs my hands, pulls me up and dances with me. It is the most adorable thing!

Bria had to help me wrap presents. She was actually not too bad at it. Derek said he couldn't tell the difference between mine and hers. (I am probably the worst wrapper in the world).

She was so proud of herself!
