Happy Easter!

Saturday night, the Bishop gave us the best gift ever for Easter... no meetings on Sunday morning!  We got to have Daddy for the entire morning and enjoy being together as a family and I couldn't have asked for more.  It was so fun to just relax and play together.  We had a big, yummy breakfast, looked for chocolate Easter eggs, and of course talked about the Savior and the sacrifice he made for us and the beautiful Resurrection.  What an INCREDIBLE morning!

Looking for chocolate Easter eggs...

The Easter basket was hidden in the dryer
The kids got Tangled and some prizes for Easter
Easter morning we brought the kids in our room and watched a video about the Savior and talked about the Resurrection.  This whole week, I have watched several videos about the Savior and have felt how much he really loves me.  I am in awe of his incredible and perfect example of forgiveness, humility, and love.  I can't even begin to imagine the pain he suffered for me and because of him, I don't have to. I am so grateful that he loves me enough to suffer the most painful way so that I can return to my Heavenly Father and be with my family forever.  I am so grateful for my family and the love we have for each other.  I learn so much from my sweet, innocent children and also from my amazing husband.  I am so blessed.

What a fun morning. I like how you watched a video about the true meaning of Easter. And it seems like Tangled was a popular Easter gift..it's such a cute movie :)

What a great Easter. We LOVE that movie. My boys have watched it a million times. It honestly has to be one of my very favorites. But I love the music!! Miss you all so much!
