I couldn't be more happy right now. I have been so blessed to have such a wonderful little family. I guess I can't really say little anymore! We are growing and I just love watching and living it. Our little Zak is growing so fast, but we have cuddled with him as much as possible so we won't have any regrets!
Zak has been so much fun. He started smiling at three weeks and laughing at four weeks. He loves to hold his head up and look around with his big beady eyes. He holds onto my hair for comfort and when I unravel his hands from it, he cries. He is a nervous little thing. Whenever he is not secure all over, he shoots his arms and legs straight out with a panicked look on his face. It is very sad! My favorite thing is going to get him from a nap and unwrapping him from his swaddle-me blanket and cuddling into his soft warm cheeks. As I pick him up, he sticks his little bum out and stretches his arms above his head. I LOVE that! He has sure brought a lot of happiness into our home!
Bria and Erik have loved having a new baby brother in the home. Erik is so sweet with him and is always making sure he has a blanket on him. He is so gentle and loves his little brother. Bria loves holding him and singing songs to him.
At night, when we tuck the kids into bed, they each get a turn to cuddle with Zak in their bed while we sing songs. They just love it! I think it is pretty cute:)

Oh how sweet! I loved reading you describe everything I love and miss about the newborn stage. I LOVE when they arch their backs, stick out their bums, and squish their faces up when they wake up!! Sigh. Nothing closer to heaven. Enjoy every second!
What sweet kids! We miss them so much! I want to hold that baby! What a sweet baby! And I want to give Bria and Erik huggies!! Miss you!
