Orem Summerfest

Every June we get to celebrate the Orem Summerfest and we are so lucky to live right by the park so we can just walk right over.  This year we had a lot going on so we only went over to get a bite to eat and just walk around.  There are rides, entertainment, lots of food and a ton of booths.  Erik got to go to the carnival with us while Bria spent some time with her aunt.  We got there right after the helicopter took off and we were so sad, but Erik got to get inside a fire truck and push the buttons and everything.  He loved that!  We had some yummy steak sandwiches and walked around together.  It was really fun. 

The best part of the summerfest and something I will miss SO much is that we get to just set up our chairs right out in our front yard and watch the fireworks.  We LOVE that!  In the past, we have been able to put our kids to bed and just go outside and hang out with our friends and watch the fireworks together.  This will be one of the things I will miss so much when we move.  This year, Bria got to stay up and watch them with us and she had a blast!
